IDyou has built-in workflows that follow the ARNECC rules for VOI which is published in the Model Participation Rules (for more info, click this link and navigate to see the table on page 53). You do not need to worry about staying up to date with these rules because the in-built workflows will simply guide you through the required ID’s to meet the regulation. After the broker has completed the customer’s name, email address, date of birth, capacity and clicked ‘done’, IDyou will give you the option to send an email to your customer being verified. The email received by the customer contains a link to download the app and a unique guest username & password. Refer to steps 5 to 7 on Page 4 of Remote User guide
You need to move to a stronger 4G mobile signal location or a stronger Wi-Fi signal
Each person to be verified must have their own unique (separate) email address?l
You cannot proceed. The whole point of VOI is to meet the verification rules built-into IDyou. You will need to adjourn the VOI session until the person being verified obtains sufficient ID to meet the Digital VOI ID requirements.
If you still have the email with the link that customer’s VOI report, open the email, click on the ‘download report’ link and enter the security code found in the App. To locate the security code, log into your IDyou app, select the ‘Verified’ tab, select the customer whose report you want to access to view the ‘Security Code’. Note, the security code expires after 72 hours, If it has been more than 72 hours since the VOI was conducted, select “Reset Report Links” to generate a new security code.

If you no longer have the email with the link to that customer’s VOI report, Log into your IDyou app, select the ‘Verified’ tab, select the customer whose report you want to access and select ‘Prepare Report For Lender’ to generate a new email to you with a link to the report
Log into the IDyou app, select the ’Verified’ tab, select the customer whose report you want to access, select ’Prepare Report For Lender’ then select the lender from the drop down list. Click ’Done’, then ’OK’
All lenders who accept IDyou now accept Remote IDyou. Click here for a full list of lenders accepting Remote IDyou. If your preferred lender is accepting IDyou but listed in your App, update your App in the App Store/Google Play. If you preferred lender is still not listed in the lender list when you click ‘Prepare Report For Lender’ select ‘Other’, then email MSA and we will investigate. Yes, IDyou has followed the rules and guidelines set by ARNECC in relation to identifying customers.
Yes, IDyou is available nationally.
Yes, you must be a client of MSA to use IDyou. Or you can be a mortgage broker who submits loan applications to a lender client of MSA.
You can sign in to IDyou using an account username and password, allocated to you by MSA.
Currently, IDyou works on iPhone 4s and above and iPad with minimum iOS Version 8.4 and above and on Android.

IDyou can be downloaded for free in the App Store & Google Play. The cost per verification is FREE for participating lenders or otherwise by negotiation.
All photos taken on the IDyou app are saved and encrypted within the app storage until verified. All the pictures are deleted once verified.
Photos that are taken in idyou are not stored on your device and cannot be accessed in your photo gallery. After you take a photo in IDyou, you have the option to re-take or use that photo. You can also delete a document from a client’s profile at any time before verification.
All information on IDyou is encrypted so your client’s information will be safe. Simply download IDyou on your new device to access your IDyou account again.
IDyou has a large signing panel to sign your name as part of the verification process. Stylus pens are the preferred way to sign, but you can also use your finger.
No, we have set up IDyou on systems separate to MSA to ensure security of client information.
MSA complies with the ISO27001 Certification for storing data. Documents entered into IDyou are transmitted and stored securely in a write-only, ISO27001 certified private cloud provided database. This database is only accessible for read access via a private VPC, to a few highly privileged administrators. All Data At Rest is secured using the industry certified AES256 encryption, and all Data In Transit is secured end-to-end, using the industry certified TLSv1, TLSv1.1, and TLSv1.2 standards, and offers the highest level of protection possible. All documents ordered as part of the report are encrypted on the server using AES256. All transport between the app and servers is secured using SSL.
With IDyou on your iPhone you can verify your client’s identity in any location. You can have your client come to your office or you can go to them. If you are unable to arrange to meet in-person with your client, you can use the remote option to conduct verification over a video call.
Each photo provides a preview so that you can check the quality of the photo each time. If it is not up to scratch a re-take option is available until you get it right.
Yes, all incomplete orders are saved within IDyou for access at a later time.
When you submit a verification you’ll receive a security code that will allow you to access the VOI report through a secure email link. The link expires after 72 hours. To reset an expired link simply select the completed report in the verified menu and select ‘Reset report link’.
Yes. The report is provided in a secured .pdf and can be saved locally.
No, once you verify your client’s identity all pictures are removed from the app. You will be able to see a list of verified reports which summarizes the order including the client’s name, who did the verification, the order id in MSA and which documents were supplied. There is also a code you can use to access the PDF of the report for a limited time.
The reports are stored for a period of 9 years. Following the Model Participation Rules each report is valid for a period of 2 years.
The code expires after 72 hours.
Once your access code has expired, you can call MSA HelpDesk to receive a new secure code.
